Back in November, I blogged about having the honor of designing jewelry for my Goddaughter Allison’s wedding and bridal party in June 2017; where did time go? The holidays came and went, January, February and just about all of March went flying by, no jewelry started! What’s a girl to do? Get her butt to the work desk and start making!
So today, I got this feeling of urgency that I needed to go to my favorite (small business) bead shop. So off I went and got some inspiration!
Mind you, I had so many ideas running through my mind, oh should I do this, or wait, what about that idea, no, wait a minute…I had so many ideas and directions that my head was spinning! Stop the presses! One thing at a time…I knew I had already purchased everything to make earrings, necklaces and bracelets; it’s that I kept changing my designs that were floating around my head. If you at least draw each design on paper, tablet, laptop, whichever works best for you, you really got to get it drawn! A lesson I really need to spend more time doing or it’s off to the looney bin for me!
I made some great progress today and ready to get it completed and packaged for my special bride! TTFN!
